ACOP 2020 Spring Conference Cancellation

Attendees’ Frequently Asked Questions

Unfortunately, due to the current COVID-19 pandemic resulting in CDC guidelines imposing travel restrictions and precluding the gathering of large groups, it is no longer possible to host the ACOP 2020 Spring Conference. Following this announcement, we are providing important details for people who have already registered.

Will the Annual Conference be rescheduled?
Meetings of this size are planned years in advance and require extensive logistical planning. This includes careful coordination with hotels large enough to accommodate meeting space and guest room needs. Given the scale of our meeting requirements, the CME Committee and Board of Trustees are reviewing all options at this time.

Will my registration be refunded?
Yes, your registration fee will be automatically refunded in full. Staff members will be working as quickly as possible, but to ensure complete accuracy the refund process for this large number of registrants may take up to 45 days to appear on your credit card statement. If you paid by check, your refund will be issued to you by check. We appreciate your patience as we work through this process.

What about my hotel reservation?
Please contact the The Broadmoor directly at (855) 634-7711 to cancel your reservations.

Will registrants/speakers be refunded for airline tickets?
The American College of Osteopathic Pediatricians (ACOP) will not refund individual airline costs. Please contact your airline directly to ask about cancellation options.

What about the abstracts that were submitted?
We also recognize that many submitted abstracts were to be considered for poster presentation at the conference.  ACOP leaders are looking at options for digital dissemination of the posters. We will provide more information soon.
